On October 29, 1976, comedian and actor Paul Lynde hosted a comedy special to celebrate Halloween, with many special guest stars including Florence Henderson, Betty White, Tim Conway, Donny and Marie and of course KISS.
KISS perform three songs including “Detroit Rock City”, “Beth” and “King of the Night Time World.” The band is introduced to Paul by the Wicked Witch of the West, played by Margaret Hamilton, who originated the character in “The Wizard of Oz” before they play “King of the Night Time World”
